As part of our project ‘Mentor in Care Provision to the Elderly’, which is funded 50% by ESF and 50% by the Czech Republic and Municipality of Prague, a team from AgeCare have been for their fifth training visit to The Prague School of Nursing.

In December Penny Dudman, Sue Clark, Tonia Waghorn and Jacqueline Ballerino spent five days teaching nursing students and care workers about ‘Normal Ageing’.
Apart from the School of Nursing (Vysoka skola zdravotnicka) they visited and trained at two Prague Care Homes (Social care and Nursing).
The evaluation held before leaving showed that the visit was much appreciated by all.
The next visit is in March. The team enjoyed their training experience as well as the Prague Old Town Christmas Market!
